shopping bags- a little bit different

You all know that plastic bags are not good for our environment. so what? Using the good old "Jute-bag" doesn't seem to be a nice alternative, so, today, wer're goig to make our own colourful, eco friendly bags!!

Boring and naked they look at the beginning, don't you think??

Use some old T shirts, fabrics you printed or you like....

So, thats what they looked after I sewed the Thsirts around the bags--- Already looking forward to my next supermarket trip :-)

alte Tshirt haben oft wunderbare Überbleibsel zum Nähen übrig

Steckt den Hosensaum mit der Spitzenborte ab und näht es an!

Shooting with my new Camera

Today, I was crawling and climbing in my parent's garden, trying to find the best position to shoot our growing green 'stars' - and our cats joined me- still, not very irritated about my enthusiasm :-)

Sew your own camera bag!

So. Now I got my new camera last week but I forgot to buy a bag for it. Anyway, I thought, why not sew it myself? Can't be that difficult!
What did I need? Let's see: Fabric, an old nespresso capsule, a knob and the plastic bag, in which the camera was sent originally.

first, you make the capsule flat

I cut the fabric a little bit larger than the plasticbag

....and pinned it onto the bag

after sewing and turning the inside out, it should look like this

Put the bag inside

...and sew the edges

Whats missing? sew the hook and pile fastener (Klettverschluss!) and the knob
with the flat nespresso capsule onto your bag!

And you and your camerabag are ready to take your first shots together! Have fun!

Memo Board

Ikea Bilderrahmen mit Stoff überziehen (gebt das Plexiglas weg und lasst nur den Pappkarton dahinter im Bilderrahmen, dann könnt ihr eure Notizen auch festpinnen!), Stoff und Bänder an der Rückseite (am besten und schnellsten mit einem Tacker) fixieren-- fertig ist das Memoboard!
